Lotus Elan M100 Headlight Pod Lift Module
The original Lotus Elan M100 headlight pod control module (A100M6027F) is no longer available from Lotus or GM. Over time these original units commonly fail due to overheating, failed relays, cracked solder joints resulting in unreliable stall detection and MOSFET burnouts.
This Pod Lift module is a modern, direct drop-in replacement designed to solve those problems and restore reliable headlight pod operation — including fixing a known limitation of the original GM module: genuine LED headlamp compatibility. The original module senses bulb current to decide when the lights are truly on, which fails with LED bulbs (pods raise but won't lower) unless a wire-wound resistor is fitted to imitate a halogen bulb. This replacement reads the switch state directly instead, so it works identically with halogen, LED, or no bulb fitted at all.
